Some photographs are meant to commemorate. Some photographs are meant to inspire. Some photographs are meant to be beautiful. Some photographs are meant to be fun.
The July Water Sessions are last kind. I don’t know about you, but there is a serious fun deficit in my life.
For a limited time this summer, I’m transforming water into part of the artwork itself. My clients have always been my muses but now you’re sharing in on the creativity by coming to play in the water with me. Light catches every ripple. Reflections create unexpected shapes. Fabric drips. Skin glistens. Every frame becomes layered, dramatic, and completely unlike a traditional portrait session. I’ve always strived to make every session unique in some way but with the added element of water, there is very little I could do to make them the same.
This isn’t about getting just wet. It’s about creating imagery that simply can’t exist any other way. And really isn’t able to be a part of our traditional session.
A Limited Summer Series
These sessions are only available on Fridays through the end of Summer. Come the end of August we are packing up the pool.Because of the specialized setup, lighting, preparation, and production involved, I can only photograph a small number of clients before the series disappears. This is a rare and immersive (no pun intended) sort of portrait experience.
This was designed for women who want artwork that feels cinematic, unique and one of a kind.
No Modeling Experience Required
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to know what to do with your hands. You don’t even need to know whether you’re “photogenic.” That’s my job.
For over fifteen years, I’ve photographed more than a thousand women, guiding every expression, every movement, every tiny adjustment that makes an image feel effortless. By the time we’re finished, you’ll forget you were ever worried about being in front of the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be completely soaked?
Yes and No. We will discuss your preferences. But you should expect to get wet. I don’t want your makeup to run but your hair will most definitely get wet. I love the idea of seeing water beaded on skin, trails of water running etc.
What should I wear?
After booking, you’ll receive preparation information, wardrobe recommendations, and everything you need to feel ready for your session. I’ve already put together a wardrobe inspo post on our Instagram! I want you to think FUN! Anything that is going to bounce even more light around is going to be extra special. This is the time to experiment with vibrant colors and textures. I just know metallics will be beyond amazing to photograp.

Most women haven’t. Almost every woman who walks through my studio says the exact same thing. You’re in good company. You don’t need experience. You just need to get through the door. Everything else is my job, my responsibility. To be clear, I do not expect you to model or to be a model! My clients are women who just get complete guidence from start to finish and the end result is very model-esque.
